Welcome to LOMOGRAPHY! Lomographische GmbH, a Vienna-based private limited company, incorporated under Austrian Law, and/or its affiliates (“we”, “us”, “our”), provide Products and Services to you, subject to the following Terms & Conditions. By visiting or shopping at our Website(s) lomography.com (shop.lomography.com or any domain under the “Lomography” brand with a different top-level domain, such as shop.lomography.de) or by using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. “You” means you, the visitor, buyer of our Products or user of our Services.

Please note that these Terms & Conditions apply only to sales made to retail customers (consumers) for personal use and not for resale or commercial purposes. Please contact orders@lomography.com to learn about the terms and conditions applicable to wholesale or business buyers.

Lomography Principles

Our Websites have been showcasing high-quality experimental analogue photography to the world for over 30 years! To establish a fair and transparent business relationship from the start, the following Terms & Conditions outline the rights and responsibilities of both parties regarding the use of our Websites and the Products and Services we offer. Please do read carefully and feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We’re happy to help!

Placing Your Order

Your order represents an offer to us to purchase one or more Products. Your order is accepted by us upon shipment of the ordered Products. You will then receive an email confirming the shipment. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to your order with no effect on prices or total quantity. For example, if you order five film twin packs, we may send ten film single packs.

Prices and Availability

Our Prices are displayed in different currencies, depending on the selected region, and include the legal value-added tax where applicable. With the exception of all orders within the EU, all recipients of international shipments are responsible for any local import duties, customs fees, or taxes that may be charged. Please note that shipping to Switzerland and “drop shipping” to Thailand may incur import duties! As with any international shipment, your local customs office may detain your order and delay its arrival while assessing appropriate duty charges.

The availability information for Products in our shop is listed on each item’s detail page. As we process your order, we will notify you by email if any items you order are unavailable or their delivery will be delayed for any reason. Please be aware that prices are subject to change.

Discounts and Deals

While our promotions typically have specified end dates, we reserve the right to end them at our sole discretion without prior notice. Additionally, if the promoted item is out of stock, all associated promotions will automatically come to an end. Please note that when multiple discounts or promotional codes are available, only one discount can be applied per transaction, unless expressly specified otherwise. This policy applies to all promotions, whether online or offline, including social media, newsletters, or printed materials.

Payment, Invoicing, and Tracking

We accept a variety of payment methods, depending on your location. These include Visa Card, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Giropay, Maestro, Click and Buy, Moneybookers, PayPal, SOFORT, iDeal, and Cash on Delivery.

Upon completion of your order, you will receive an electronic pro forma invoice to the email address you have provided us. Once your order has been dispatched we will send you the final electronic invoice and a link to track your shipment to the same email address.


We aim to dispatch orders within one business day of receipt, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs and delivery times will vary based on your location, and will be presented at checkout and in your order confirmation. We’ll send you an email notification once your order has been handed over to the carrier, if you have provided a valid email address.

Upon delivery of the ordered Products, ownership and all associated risks pass to you. This includes situations where you are in default of acceptance, where the delivery of the Products is considered complete when we have made the Products available to you and informed you of their availability. If you notice any obvious damages to the packaging upon receipt, please report it immediately to the carrier and to us. This will help us to investigate the issue as quickly as possible and does not affect your warranty rights for defective Products.

Withdrawal From the Contract

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for details on how to cancel your order and return your goods.

We may withdraw from the contract if, through no fault of our own, we do not receive the Product that you ordered, despite having previously concluded a corresponding purchase contract with our own supplier. In this event, we will promptly inform you of our inability to deliver and our resulting withdrawal from the contract. Any payment made by you will be reimbursed immediately.

Warranty Claims

If you notice a defect in your Product, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. Make sure to reach out to us within two years from the date of receipt of the Product to report any defects. We’ll only reimburse return shipping charges for Products that have manufacturing defects.

We may ask you to destroy the defective item, rather than return it. If the defect was present at the time of purchase, we will repair your item free of charge. If repair is not possible, we reserve the right to replace the item with an equivalent product. In the event that a replacement is not available, we will provide a refund. For small, cosmetic defects, we may agree to a price reduction and partial refund. Returns must include the defective item, the invoice, and should include a note stating the item’s defect to be processed.

Please note that we are not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use or handling. Expired film is sold “as seen” unless otherwise specified in the Product description.

Features and Specifications

We may make changes to the features and specifications of our Products at any time without prior notice. Please note that any non-metric units provided are approximate.

Exclusion of Liability

Except in cases of personal injury, breach of a main contractual obligation, or damage to items accepted for processing, we exclude liability for damages resulting from slight negligence. Under no circumstance will we be responsible for any loss of profit, or any loss of data, opportunity, revenues or anticipated savings, for any increased costs or expenses, or for any special, indirect or consequential damages except as provided under the Product Liability Act.

Export Control

Our Products may be subject to export controls. By placing an order, you agree to comply with applicable export control laws, including those of the European Union. We retain the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates export control laws to ensure compliance.

Any links to external resources, online services, or websites are provided for your convenience and to enhance the information available on our Websites. However, we do not endorse the specific external resource, online service, or website, the information contained in the linked reference, or the organisations associated with the external links. You access any external resources, online services, or websites at your own risk and should review the terms of use and privacy policies of those sites before using them.

Prohibition of Web Scraping and Crawling

You agree not to engage in any web scraping or crawling activities on our Websites. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of automated bots, software, or any other means to extract, collect, or scrape data from our Websites without our explicit consent. We reserve the right to take appropriate measures to protect the integrity and security of our Websites, including but not limited to implementing technical safeguards and pursuing legal remedies to address unauthorised web scraping or crawling activities.

Please note that emails will not be answered between Friday 5pm and Monday 10am. Emails received outside of our business hours or on public holidays may not be answered until the next business day. Our business hours are based on the local time of our offices.

EPR / WEEE Information

As a responsible business, we comply with the regulations set forth by the German ElektroG (Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act) and other relevant regulations, fulfilling our obligations as a supplier of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). We provide you with the following WEEE numbers. According to § 6 Abs. 3 of the German ElektroG: WEEE-Reg.-Nr.: DE 51186826

Disagreements; Governing Law and Jurisdiction

We understand that disagreements can happen, but we’ll always do our best to resolve them quickly and fairly. If you’re not satisfied with the way we’ve handled a disagreement and want to take court proceedings, you should do so in the country where you live, as long as you’re a consumer and we’ve conducted our activities in that country or directed them toward it. Alternatively, if this does not apply to you, the laws of the Republic of Austria without its conflict of law rules will govern any dispute, and the exclusive legal venue will be Vienna, Austria.

If you shop or use our Services in the USA, any disputes or legal proceedings related to these Terms & Conditions will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without its conflict of law rules. Furthermore, all such disputes will be handled exclusively in the federal and state courts in New York County, New York.

If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
