+Take a Look Around
Tech specs, function charts, and historical timelines are all well and good, but nothing can speak to the true magic of the LC-A+ like the juicy little images that it creates. Every shot is a little analog story – bursting with content and capable of charming even the saltiest old sailor. It’s quite a feeling to peel open that first package of fresh-from-the-lab Lomo prints. Most of your shots will be very nice. Surely, one or two will be complete blurs as you forgot to set the focus properly. But several of them will unbelievably special Lomographic gems – incredible little images or happy accidents that absolutely blow you away and could never be duplicated in any other circumstances or by any other camera. That, my friends, is the real majesty of the LC-A+. Treat yourself to a slamming slideshow of such gems by clicking through our online Gallery – organized by technique.

(1) Natural Daylight
Pure, simple & beautiful daytime shots. Keep a sharp eye out for that Minitar 1 color, contrast, and vigentting!

(2) Long Exposures
Hold open the shutter and let the ambient light outside your camera come streaming through the lens and onto your film. Keep it steady for sharp shots or move it all around for buckwild abstracts.

(3) Flash & Color Flash
When paired with its best friend – the Lomographic Colorsplash – you’re looking at a whole new world of white & tinted light tossed around day and night.

(4) Multiple Exposures
Do it again and again and again by re-cocking the shutter and firing on the same frame as many times as you please.

(5) Cross Processed
Develop that slide film (E-6) in color negative chemicals (C-41) for the kind of psycho color and contrast shifts that your mother warned you about. Different films (Agfa, Kodak, Fuji, etc) give different colors and effects.

(6) Too Fast for Love
With 1600 ISO film loaded inside your LC-A+, handheld shots without a flash in subdued and indoor lighting are an absolute pleasure. Its incredible sensitivity and large, crunchy film grain capture an atmospheric wonderland of ambient lights and big aperture/soft focus faces. Feed it into your Lomo and teach that doggie a few new tricks.
