Using a basic shutter, advance mechanism, and plastic housing – you may craft a fully-functional 35mm compact camera with LOMO optics. This is excellent for taking photographs of nature hikes, architectural studies, or luge competitions.
Using reverse-mount optics and the included battery pack, you can project your 35mm slides onto a close wall or paper sheet. Close inspection will confirm proper focus and exposure levels. Invite a friend or two to field their qualified opinions.
With a small modification, 35mm negatives may also be viewed. Although more exposure-tolerant than positive images, negatives must be carefully evaluated as well.
When inside a darkroom environment, you may develop your own film by creating the Photographic Enlarger. Merely align a sheet of prepared photographic paper beneath the projected image, exposure and chemically bathe at the prescribed levels, and let dry.
