Fafi
Fafi has come a long way since the days when she used to sneak out of her parents' house in Toulouse to make her mark on her hometown's walls. Her sexy and funny Fafinettes give off that same rebellious edge and contributed to starting a new graphic language. Her raunchy and funny characters sparked a new way of exploring femininity through stereotypes.
It was not long before her distinctive graffiti style caught the attention of some big international players. She has designed a 6 character toy-set for Sony's Time Capsule collection. Additionally, there have been Fafi collaborations on projects with Colette, Adidas, and Coca-Cola. In 2007, Fafi branched out into animation when she created the main character in a Mark Ronson's music video "Oh My God". The year 2007 marked a significant development in Fafi's work and home life.
She is now a mother and officially a Paris dweller and as a result she decided to experiment with additional characters to open up her Fafinettes' world. This was the beginning of a whole world of colourful creatures, stories and wonder, called the Carmine Vault.
