In production from 1955 to 1977, it is the second in the Lubitel (which means "Amateur“ in Russian) line to bring affordable, TR, medium format photography to everyday folk. Although technically not so different from its predecessor, the Lubitel 2 offers flash synchronization and a self timer. We’ve managed to get our mitts on a handful of these rare wonders. There’s just something altogether cool about shooting medium format from the hip for real, with the Lubitel 2.
